Coordination

MEP Coordination

Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing coordination for complete permit sets.

Overview

On commercial and multi-family projects, the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering drawings must be coordinated with the architectural set before submission. Conflicts discovered during plan check or in the field are expensive. We review MEP drawings against architectural sheets, identify conflicts, and produce a fully coordinated package in direct communication with the responsible engineers.

MEP conflicts discovered at plan check require the architect and multiple engineers to issue corrections simultaneously, compounding the delay. Conflicts discovered in the field are far worse. Pre-submission MEP coordination is the most reliable way to prevent both.
