Overview
On projects that require a licensed structural engineer, the architectural and structural drawing sets must work together as a single coherent package. We coordinate both sets, reviewing for dimensional conflicts, aligning references, and producing a combined permit package that reads as one document. All coordination is completed in direct communication with the engineer of record.
Uncoordinated drawings are a leading cause of plan check corrections and field conflicts. When the architectural and structural sets do not agree on dimensions, bearing locations, or assembly details, the project pays twice: once at plan check and once in the field.
